Nillumbik Shire Councils Community Bank Women in Sport Breakfast is just one of the examples where the Community Bank model has made a big difference in our community.

Recent support of $3,000 in partnership with Nillumbik Shire Council saw a hugely successful event held at Eltham Community Centre. The annual event, which was established in 2022, aims to promote gender equality in sports participation while providing education and networking opportunities for local sporting clubs. Council engaged industry leaders in sport as guest speakers to enhance the community’s understanding of best practices in gender equity in sports.
