2 September 2024

As Spring arrives with the promise of new beginnings and fresh opportunities, Bendigo Bank has today revealed its latest home loan campaign featuring real life customers who have recently unlocked significant savings.

Customers who join during Bendigo Bank's Spring Home Loan Campaign can expect to receive Bendigo Bank’s exceptional customer service, competitive rates and a free home loan health check - which may save you thousands.

The Spring Campaign follows a successful Autumn Home Loan Campaign, where families from around the country have told the Bank just how much they have saved since making the switch to Bendigo Bank.

Families and couples have reported undertaking their first ever home loan health check, with some remarkable savings as a result. For example:

  • The Sangwell family from TAS will save $3,605 with a lower interest rate over one year
  • The Taylor family from SA will save $4,152 in repayments over one year with a lower interest rate
  • The Elliott family from VIC will save $4,656 with a lower interest rate over one year
  • The Timmins family from QLD saved $4,603 with a lower interest over one year

General Manager Retail Banking, Dennis Teale said as the warmer weather hits, it's a perfect time to for Australians to review their finances and shop around to find a better deal.

"Bendigo Bank's free home loan health check has been instrumental in thousands of Aussie households saving a significant amount of their income for the things that matter most to them," Mr Teale said.

"Spring signifies renewal, and it's an excellent time to refresh your financial plans and explore different rates and offers that could save you and your family thousands.

"At Bendigo Bank, we pride ourselves on our customer service and quality products. During your home loan health check, our experienced team will assist you in simplifying your banking needs and finding out the very best deal for your future," Mr Teale concluded.

The Norris family recently saved themselves $5772 in their first year of their home loan* by undertaking a free home loan health check. The couple worked closely with one of Bendigo Bank’s expert mobile home loan lenders to help build their dream family home.

"The project started for us when Penny showed me this design on Instagram and said, this is my dream home and I absolutely agreed - so we decided to build it," Ross Norris said.

"We were introduced to Bendigo Bank and our lender Amanda was introduced to us via a friend, and she absolutely understood what the project was and how they could play a role in making it work - so we're completely grateful for that.

"We had spent a lot of time talking to other banks, and had really felt like they didn't realise there were people on the other end of the conversation, whereas with our Bendigo Bank Lender, we really felt like she took the time to understand who we were, she took the time to understand what the project was and was able to shape the Bendigo Bank products to suit our needs," Ross concluded.
