Bendigo and Adelaide Bank is committed to supporting local communities.
The main way we assist communities with sponsorships is through our national branch network, with the establishment of long term relationships and commitment from both partners. We believe this provides the most benefit to communities because local people are making the decisions on where funds are distributed in their own communities.
Please contact your closest Bendigo Bank branch with regards to local sponsorship requests.
At this time we are unable to consider any new national or state-based sponsorship requests as we are committed to existing long term partnerships.
For other community funding options, please keep an eye on Community Enterprise Foundation’s Community Bank® Grants Programs available in your community.
Our major sponsorships include:
Australian Baseball League and Baseball Australia
Bendigo Bank is delighted to be a major partner of Baseball Australia and the Australian Baseball League (ABL), supporting the growth and development of Baseball in Australia from grassroots to the Australian national league.
The sponsorship sees the Bank supporting all six national baseball teams across Australia; Brisbane Bandits, Sydney Blue Sox, Canberra Cavalry, Melbourne Aces, Adelaide Bite and Perth Heat.
The Bank is also naming rights partner of Bendigo Bank Little League Championship Series, held each year in June. This series gives 11 and 12-year-old ballplayers the chance to battle it out for the opportunity to represent Australia at the Little League World Series in the USA.
Throughout the baseball season Bendigo Bank runs a number of activities, including the very popular Baseball Buddies program that allows grassroots clubs to line up with ABL teams on field prior to the first pitch of every ballgame.
Want to know more about Baseball in Australia, head to Baseball Australia’s official website baseball.com.au.
To see the full Australian Baseball League’s team schedule head to the ABL Schedule.
And if you and your Club bank with Bendigo Bank you can benefit through our Local Baseball Club Banking.

Bendigo International Festival of Exploratory Music
Bendigo International Festival of Exploratory Music (BIFEM) is a cutting edge music festival, which promotes the most innovative and virtuosic concert music from all around the world with an emphasis on premiere or rarely performed long form works.
Bendigo was selected as the birthplace of BIFEM for many reasons, including recognition for its visual and arts culture and for being a deeply musical city. After strutting on to the international music scene in 2013, BIFEM won critical praise from around the world. Under the vision of David Chisholm, BIFEM finds exciting young performers and presents music which is rarely heard locally.
Our support of BIFEM has in the past supported community events such as the annual cushion concert for under five year olds, a sound art workshop for Bendigo adults with an intellectual disability and supporting Australian premiere performances.

Mater Little Miracles Easter Appeal
The annual Mater Little Miracles Easter Appeal is an opportunity to give back to Mater for all the amazing work they do to improve the life of the many infants born into their care each year. Without ongoing support, Mater Foundation wouldn’t be able to invest into life-saving research, care and equipment to make sure that all babies have the opportunity to grow up to be happy and healthy children.
Bendigo Bank has been a proud supporter of Mater Foundation for more than 10 years. We have had great success raising much needed support for their causes. One project in particular is the newly opened Pregnancy & Assessment Centre (PAC), located at Mater Mothers Hospital in Southbank QLD. The PAC provides around the clock care for any woman who needs help from day one of pregnancy until six weeks after birth.
For over a decade, Bendigo Bank has been the Principal Regional Partner of Orchestra Victoria, taking live orchestral music and educational workshops to communities across Victoria that the orchestra would not otherwise have been able to reach. The On the mOVe education program provides music development opportunities for young regional musicians and teachers, and culminates in the students joining the full orchestra in a concert.
Together, we bring the joy of music to communities across regional Victoria.

Read the Play
Read the Play is a mental health literacy program designed for junior level sports clubs (under-16 football and under-15 netball clubs) and delivered by mental health workers in conjunction with the club’s Player Wellbeing Officer. The program uses fun and interactive games to engage young people to remove the stigma about mental illness.
The program started in Geelong, Victoria, in 2007 but since then has expanded across the state and into New South Wales. The program’s reach is always expanding and is now active in Victoria (Colac, Geelong, Latrobe Valley, Portland, Wyndham), New South Wales (Murrumbidgee) and South Australia (Mount Gambier).
Our commitment to Read the Play, as a Premier Partner, has allowed for all educational materials to be professionally established and designed and has supported the development of the Read the Play Inc. website.
St John SA
St John volunteers attend thousands of events and emergencies across the state each year, providing lifesaving first aid care to the public.
Recognising the importance of St John to the local community, Bendigo Bank has partnered with the not-for-profit organisation since 2015. To support the ongoing work of St John and its volunteers, Bendigo Bank, in conjunction with St John, will raise funds for vital equipment, training and supplies to benefit the well-being of South Australians.
