Messages in e-banking
Messages is a secure email service available in e-banking.
The service allows you to send account information and enquiries to Bendigo Bank in a confidential and secure manner. Your message will automatically include your e-banking Access ID so that we can identify you as the sender.
View or send messages
To view a message:
- Select the Support tile (found in the More menu in the Bendigo Bank app)
- Select Messages
To send a message:
- Select the Support tile (found in the More menu in the Bendigo Bank app)
- Select Messages
- Select Write a Message
- Write your message
- Select Send message
If your request is urgent, please call us on 1300 236 344.
Please do not send your card number via the Messages service.
Message notifications
If you have new messages, a badge indicating how many will appear on the Support tile. If there are more than 99 new messages, an exclamation mark will appear in the badge.
Once you view the Messages tab, the badge will disappear, even if you do not read each new message.
Cancelling cheques
You can request to cancel a cheque in e-banking using the Messages service:
- Select the Support tile (found in the More menu in the Bendigo Bank app)
- Select Messages
- Select Cancel a Cheque
- Complete the required information
- Select Submit
Archiving messages
Messages cannot be deleted, but they can be archived by opening a message and selecting Archive.
To view archived messages:
- Select the Support tile (found in the More menu in the Bendigo Bank app)
- Select Messages
- Scroll to the bottom
- Select Show archived messages
Each message must be archived individually.
