Sponsorships and Grants

We are committed to supporting local communities

Yes, it’s time to feel good about who you bank with.

Community Bank Collie & Districts has given more than $8.5 million to the local community in the last 22 years. Like all Community Bank branches, our branch gives up to 80% of profits back to the community.

We aim to develop long-term prosperity by supporting programs that help empower local individuals and groups within the local community. Seeing our town prosper is the reason we do what we do!

Community Investment

We support initiatives through grants, sponsorships and scholarships that help create a resilient, sustainable and thriving community.

Saving Lives

Students at St Brigid's School learned the life-saving skills of first aid earlier this week with St John WA. All students were taught the basic skills of identifying and reacting appropriately to an emergency, including the "Danger, Response & Send" framework and how to call triple zero.

These essential lessons were completely funded for provision to all local school students by Community Bank Collie & Districts, totalling $20,000.

Up in Lights

If you plan to take a night-time drive through town, make sure you include a stop in Forrest Street! These amazing fairy lights are now twinkling in seven of Central Park's trees, including flood lighting to the foliage. This magical addition brightened the park at Christmas time but will remain a year-round feature in the town centre.

It was made possible by $57,000 of funding from Community Bank Collie & Districts and the hard work of the Collie Shire's Christmas Decoration Working Group. We hope everyone gets the opportunity to enjoy them.

Grand Unveiling

Our chairman Jeff Riley officially opened the new Collie Community Broadcasting Association's new studio recently. Our branch's contribution of $390,000 towards the building's construction was recognised, as well as the financial support of The Coal Miners' Welfare Board of Western Australia and the Government of Western Australia.

It was an enormous milestone for the broadcasting association, but also for our branch. We are proud to have been involved in the project and to have played a role in helping community radio prosper in our town!
