Growing grassroots with every sponsorship

At Bendigo Bank, we know the greatest teams and fan-favourite players grew from grassroots. It’s why we support local clubs that create pathways to bigger things.

Discover how we support important initiatives through our major sponsorships.

Beyond the excitement of the biggest games on the biggest stages are thousands of stories of players, coaches, and volunteers giving their all to the sports they love. So, it’s only fair that through our major sponsorships we play our part, ensuring clubs and communities feel the same level of genuine support from the bank that’s bigger for them.

Aussie Rules

Aussie Rules is more than a game in this country – it’s a shared language. Bendigo Bank is proud to back footy at every level – from the grassroots clubs where legends are made to the Adelaide Crows and Geelong Cats that make millions of us feel something every season, footy grows here.

Basketball

Basketball is one of Australia’s fastest growing sports – and nowhere is that growth more electric than at the grassroots level where future stars are finding their feet right now. We back the game because we back the communities it comes from – including the team born in our hometown, Bendigo Spirit.

Ways we support Australian communities.

The main way we assist communities is with local grassroots sponsorship through our national branch network, with the establishment of long-term relationships and commitment from both partners.

Through Foundation, the Philanthropic arm of Bendigo Bank, we manage grants, scholarships and community-focused appeals to get funding where it is needed and create a lasting difference.

Sponsorship requests

Bendigo Banks' sponsorship resource is committed to projects in advance, and in partnership with our Community Bank network who drive positive impact from the grassroots.

Community grants

We facilitate a wide range of grants to assist eligible charities and not-for-profit organisations across Australia invest their profits back into local communities.

Scholarships

Each year, we award local Community Bank and Bendigo Bank scholarships to community-minded students who are studying at an Australian university or TAFE.

Disaster appeals

We help communities with disaster recovery and to raise funds for things that matter to them.
