Sponsorships and Grants
Community Bank Gisborne & District is a franchise of Bendigo Bank operated by Macedon Ranges Community Enterprises Ltd, a public company owned by local shareholders and overseen by a volunteer board of directors.
Our branch was established to provide an independent revenue stream for community development in the Gisborne, Macedon and Riddells Creek area and we are proud to have invested more than $1.6 million in local projects and scholarships since opening in 2008.
Community investment is managed by Macedon Ranges Community Enterprises.
Where do we invest?
We invest in local community projects and programs through our biannual Community Investment Program and in local talent through our Scholarships for Lifelong Learning program.
Our community development is focused on postcodes 3437, 3431, 3438, 3440, 3441 and 3442, the catchment area for Community Bank Gisborne & District. In this way, we return income generated by local banking to the communities that have supported us most.
